Program Description
In the Professional Influence program, we will focus on what it takes to influence other people to cooperate with you in achieving goals. If you want to get attention, get noticed, get promoted or just get help on a project, then you must have personal magnetism or charisma. Most people believe that people are born with charisma. Either you have it or you don't. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Being able to influence others is a set of skills and attitudes that can be easily developed, just like any other dimension of human behavior.

Personal influence is not a substitute for talent, technical skills, knowledge of your industry, creativity, intuition, good work habits or political savvy. It is, however, something that supplements and multiplies the effectiveness of other success factors. The person who combines good work skills with professional influence skills will most likely achieve career success and personal satisfaction.

Professional Influence is designed for you to actively participate with your peers in the training workshop. This training program encourages you to improve your knowledge and skills by integrating your work-related situations into the workshop.

Objectives
Our goal is to build greater personal skills and confidence in your ability to professionally influence others. As a result of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the benefits of a powerful image and the impact of first impressions
  • Utilize the power of body language to enhance a message in our global environment
  • Identify words that rob people of their influencing power
  • Learn today's rules for "dressing for success" in our dress-down culture
  • Use specific steps to feel more confident when speaking in public
  • Become more persuasive utilizing six-steps for communicating ideas
  • Learn to adapt their messages to their audience
