Tap Into Your Potential

Return to Skill Booster Programs

Program Description
Who do you think you are? Do you see yourself as Margaret Thatcher, while your coworkers see you as Lucille Ball? Gain valuable insights into your own personality. Learn more about who you are and why you relate to others as you do. Understand your strengths and how to utilize them to overcome some of your weaknesses. Understand what motivates you and how to create a work environment that provides those things for you. Know more about the things that demotivate you and learn strategies to increase your effectiveness.

The workshop is designed to be fun and interactive. It utilizes the Personal Profile System by Inscape. A self-assessment instrument will be administered before the start of the workshop and participants will receive a 15-page computerized report about their preferred style of communication and behavior at work. It will include a section titled, "How to manage this person," which a participant can later share with their boss or bosses. The workshop will begin with a skit that reveals the non-verbal clues about style differences. Participants will have time to personalize their reports, create action plans, and role play about style differences.
